A heritage full of expressions and inspiration, San Luis Potosi is a region known for its Folk Art in traditional toys, musical instruments like guitars, and violins, it has a beautiful various rebozos styles, including the Otomis “ikat”, a technique which consist of tying and grouping threads, implementing a loom method with variety of stokes, colors and drawings. Other textile works include napkins, mantillas, tablecloths of fine thread with cross stitching of the natural world and geometric designs. The handicrafts from the Huichol people, an indigenous community specialize in bead, and yarn work, with striking magnetic colors, and deep spiritual reflections. A land growing herbs for health and emotional balance, coffee, and extraordinary vanilla, San Luis continues to be the enriching, mystical land of Mexico carrying the testament of time.
