Small Hand Painted Day of the Dead Wooden Sugar Skulls
During Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, festivities sugar skulls are a well-known part of the celebration and can be seen decorating ofrendas (offerings) to represent the deceased. Traditional sugar skulls are made of granulated white sugar and are exactly what the name indicates: skull-shaped sugar. However, other materials are used to represent sugar skulls such as clay and wood. Today, sugar skulls have become a staple of Mexican culture and are present all year round.
These beautifully made sugar skulls are hand painted and carved by the talented hands of artisans in Oaxaca, Mexico. This is the perfect piece to decorate your ofrenda while on Day of the Dead celebrations and continue to add a special Mexican touch in other times of the year, it will never go out of style.

Shipped to me pretty fast, considered the widespread of delays still occurring. The small sugar skulls are cute but much smaller than I expected. I'm still happy with my order. Thank you!
They are brilliant!
Hi the request for a review is premature, I’m looking forward to my order to arriving.
It's a small skull but really nicely painted (I've painted ceramics...painting those little skulls requires a steady hand and good eyes!). Very colorful and really cute! Please extend my compliments to the artists!
I love the individuality of each one I received thank you. Smaller then I expected but each hand painted so they are unique.
