Colectivo Muum
GROWING ROOTS OF YUCATECAN CLOTHING AND HERITAGE

From the sun-warmed heart of Kimbalá, Colectivo Muum is a gathering of women and men artisans whose hands carry generations of textile memory. Rooted in family teachings and community traditions, each artisan brings their own story, techniques, and dedication to traditional Yucatecan clothing.
Working with both hand and machine embroidery, they shape fabric with care—cutting, drawing, stitching, and refining each detail with quiet mastery. Through techniques such as cross-stitching, each design blossoms across linen fabrics, creating icons of native florals under the Yucatán sun, every motif a whisper of heritage.
Creating beautifully tailored garments, each piece is crafted with love, precision, and deep respect for the culture it represents—a living thread connecting past and present, worn with pride and grace.
