The talented weavers of Santo Tomas Jalieza create each masterpiece using a backstrap loom. This time-honored traditional method of weaving results in elaborate designs with textured, raised threads and a soft touch, as well as the most exquisite vivid colors.
This collection is beautifully made with unique designs woven by a technique called “telar de cintura,” which consist on weaving threads on a loom with a fixed anchorage at the belt of the weaver.
