Sale price Price $11.99 Regular price

Day of the Death Papel Picado Mylar Large Paper Cutout 100% Handmade in Puebla, Mexico.

A Mexican folk art, papel picado is used throughout the year for decorations and is made by cutting detailed patterns on tissue paper to reflect the festivity it is being used for. These decorations are particularly used during Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Death, celebrations. Traditional Paper is the essential touch to include in a Mexican altar or home decoration.

This Papel Picado Mylar Paper Cutout is made of mylar paper to give it a metallic and shiny finish and to mek it more resistant compared to traditional tissue paper. Can be used as place mats at the altar, as altar skirt for a table, or by hanging free style as decoration. Authentic and unique piece of traditional Mexican decoration.

Each package includes 1 double paper of rectangular pieces of tissue paper with Day of the Death theme.

  • Made of intricately cut mylar paper to make it resistant and glossy.
  • Approximate Measurements: 2’ 4” by 1’ 7”
  • Picture displayed and color may not match picture, but theme will be consistent and all designs/colors will be as indicated.

- At Lolo - Mercadito we are committed to acknowledging the nature of each product. With each purchase, you are getting a unique and authentic piece that was handmade with love by artisans from Mexico. For their artisanal nature, there might be some flaws and variations in color, measurements, and design.
