The stunning candles from Teotitlán del Valle are intricate beeswax creations handcrafted by artisans in this Oaxacan town. Traditionally used in cultural and spiritual ceremonies for the Zapotec community in which they're made, their history is impressive and so is the delicate and artisanal process behind how they are made.
Each candle is made through a slow layering process and decorated with detailed wax flowers, that are added to the main candle one by one.
