SACRED AND COMPLEX FLAVORS OF MEXICAN CACAO

Deeply rooted in Mesoamerican heritage, Metiche is a celebration of cacao as memory, ritual and gathering. Founded by Fabiola in Guadalajara, this women-owned and operated project was born from love for Mexican cacao, a sacred and complex flavor with depthness and diversity.
Sourcing cacao from the lush lands of Soconusco, Chiapas, Comalcalco, Tabasco, and other regions known for fruity undertones and prized varieties like Criollo, Fabiola honors Mexico’s traditions, regions, and flavors. Everything is then handcrafted in Guadalajara, the cacao is gently roasted, slowly ground, and formed into chocolate without dairy or excessive sweeteners. Made with simple, natural ingredients, each bar carries boldness and elegance in equal measure. It is chocolate meant to be savored — after a meal with café de olla or tea, wrapped as a thoughtful gift, or broken and shared in good company.
In Spanish, metiche means “nosy.” A playful word. Curious. Always leaning in. A curiosity meant to be shared with care.
