A beautiful state with artisans who make pottery vessels, baskets, objects made of paper, leather, metal, and wood. Known for their music, various ornamental pieces, and elaborate embroidery tied to their ancestral roots, the indigenous community, Otomi, (Hñäñhu) community create true works of art. Making the iconic Mexican dolls, "Lelé,” the word for baby in Otomí, these baby dolls with toliman embroidery, colorful dresses, and ribbons, are created by women in the community. Celebrating the matriarchal lineage of artisanal craftsmanship.
