Elaborated in history and legacies, Tlaxcala carries various techniques, and crafts created by skilled artisans. The crafts include wood work, carving intricate figurines of nature, string instruments, impressive rugs, wool blankets, sawdust paintings, which are created during special holidays, and celebrations, and are a delicate ephemeral artistic practice. Totomoxtle, is a technique using corn husks to create elaborate flowers, or other sculptures. Tlaxacala gives special attention to their wax works like candles, painting each by hand, bringing life, and color to these special creations.
